A greener Alberta?

Actually, it's quite the contrary, the Western Province is getting its air poisoned at record levels and the government is legislating to keep its toxic circus chugging on until at least 2020... untouched!

Yep! The Albertan government is all about pollution and careless destruction of the environment "on the field" while it puts up a theater act for the public, pretending they care about the planet.

So Daveberta (a blogger) is one of many to pick at the ridiculous Albertan Tory "green plan" that Ed Stelmach is so adamant about.

• It's obvious this plan makes industrialists happy and everyone else miserable... and sick.
  
  Furthermore, the industrialists, in Alberta's case, are mainly foreigners.
  
  So, basically, Alberta is allowing to pollute the Earth and poison its citizens for the benefit of foreigners (mainly American and French).
  
  Albertans need to take back their land and resources.

What Albertans have is a natural resource that shouldn't be under such heavy foreign control. Even if the government gets kickbacks, it's just not enough.

While foreign transnationals are getting richer and richer, Albertans are being actively poisoned by the open air toxic dump Alberta is quickly turning into.

It's a modern tragedy because Albertan has traditionally been a wonderful province with vast prairies and breathtaking mountain sceneries.

Furthermore, Albertans have always been such amazing people, hard-working, determined and very proud. To see their land soiled the way it is, especially with the oil sands mess going on, is nothing short of a catastrophe.

Some Albertans may benefit from this environmental destruction in the short term but that's it since there's nothing long term about a non-renewable resource.
